Ready or not here they come!
It is almost Halloween and the start of the holiday season, and increased blood pressure, wallet pinches and upcoming family gatherings. So take a deep breath and tell yourself you don’t have to get caught up in the holiday season stressors, or at least work toward having less stress than the year before.
One of the things that can help reduce stress is start now with making a list of things you would like/need/want to have completed for the holidays and by what date. Space out your projects so they don’t overwhelm you and take one project at a time. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help with your projects, holidays are about family, friends and loved ones spending time together, whether you are cooking, shopping, decorating, or preparing. As Joe Cocker says, we get by with a little help from our friends. Oh yes we do, especially during the holidays.
So, enjoy the start of the holiday season and work toward having a more enjoyable and less stressful season!
